The scientific work packages (WP6-9) coupled with the overall ITN training (WP2-5) and laboratory exchanges will develop the next generation of MBR technology experts with technical skills that will allow advances beyond the current state-of-the-art. The final goal of the scientific WPs is to further advance the application of MBR technology such as to fully incorporate it as a highly versatile tool that can be applied advantageously to speed up bioprocess development.
