The EUROMBR consortium congratulates Claudia Gärtner for awarding the third prize of the EU women innovators prize for setting up her biotechnology company microfluidic ChipShop, which is an important beneficiary in the EUROMBR consortium. The awards, which are designed to showcase the achievements of female entrepreneurs in science and research, were presented by Carlos Moedas, the EU’s Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, and Mairead McGuinness, Vice-President of the European Parliament, at a ceremony at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium, on 8 March.
