A 2.5 day workshop including ESR and ER presentations in Copenhagen, Denmark (organizer DTU) - month 36. Number of attendees: 10-15 (only open to the programme). Biocatalysis - i.e. use of enzymes as catalysts to achieve a (bio)chemical reaction - is the second specific application field addressed in this programme. A half-day introduction to biocatalysis and its future opportunities will be followed by advanced topics, illustrated with examples. One day will be spent on reactor scaling and the application of process modeling. Another day will be spent on uncertainty and sensitivity analysis of dynamic models (DTU).
