The ‘Kick-off meeting’ will be held under the theme ‘Microbioreactors for bioprocess development’. A 2 day meeting in Lyngby (organizer DTU) with representatives of each project partner – month 2. The main purpose of this meeting is to introduce project partners to each other, and to plan the first 24 months of the EUROMBR project, including the planning of the recruitment of the fellows. Since this meeting will bring together all groups for the first time, each principal investigator will present a general lecture on the state-of-the-art of their subject area (as defined in the list of participants). One or two external speakers will be invited as well, for example Prof. John Villadsen (DTU) to provide a historical overview on bioprocess development.
